Your intuition is your ultimate spiritual GPS. With a well-tuned inner guidance system, you can more easily recognize positive opportunities, avoid energetic drain, and focus on what really lights you up inside.
When you put a desired destination into the spiritual GPS, you may expect to see the whole map—turn by turn, with every specific detail laid out. In reality, most intuitive impressions are short, sweet, simple, and applicable. More like, “Turn here” or “Take the exit ramp now!”
If you are asking for intuitive guidance on a situation in your life, and you don’t get an instant download of the entire road map turn for turn, you may feel discouraged or frustrated. That doesn’t mean you are doing anything wrong or that your intuition is broken, faulty, or taking a permanent vacation.
When you are looking for answers and are caught up in the emotions of a situation, ironically, it is easy to overlook the intuitive messages that are there for you.
So, then what?
If you feel like you are getting crickets rather than direction, it is time to get back to basics to re-attune to your intuition.
Here are my favorite go-tos when you are feeling stumped:
1. What is your gut feeling?
Your solar plexus chakra is the powerful energy center just above your navel, and it is connected to 70,000 (!!) energy channels in your body. This powerhouse assimilates and distributes tons of energy from all parts of your body. This makes it a prime sensor for giving you an accurate read about how your body really feels about a person, a situation, or an idea you are having.
When you consider the question at hand, how does your gut react? Literally. Does your stomach feel tense, heavy, stressed, tired? Does it feel light, excited, uplifted? Try to describe what you sense in one word. Just go with your first impressions.
2. Check in with your body
What else do you notice in your body? Try to keep a clear mind and a clear focus on your question at hand. Where do you feel a shift in your body? How does your chest feel? Observe the overall sensations that come through.
3. Say it out loud
Your voice carries your unique energy vibration in it. When you say something out loud, you are inviting your vibration to respond to the energy stated. Notice the immediate feeling that follows.
Does it feel like the truth? Does your body feel resistant?
By getting back to basics and focusing on your overall impressions, you can more easily gain clarity about the situation at hand. Even if you aren’t seeing the full road map, rely on the turn-by-turn direction of your own spiritual GPS to direct you to the highest and most loving path for you.
