If you’re like me, the more I explore the spiritual journey, the more tools I pick up. It’s been my calling to share these tools with the world. So here we are, the spiritual explorer’s toolkit. A list of tools I’ve gathered on my way to coming home to my Self.
Please use this as a guide, and allow yourself to feel into these tools instead of what you currently know to be true. Our previous beliefs often cloud our openness to try new things. Being open to receive is the best and truest form of higher elevation.
If your mission is to heal, journey, and raise your vibration, this blog is for you. Let’s dig into the tools I recommend for your spiritual awakening journey. (By the way, it never ends once it begins.) These tools are lifelong and part of the bigger picture, the divine road map that was created for you.
The Chakras: Energy Centers of Awareness
When I first heard the word chakra, it felt foreign—something reserved for yogis or spiritual gurus far more advanced than me. But over time, I came to understand the chakras not as mystical, unreachable concepts, but as deeply practical and personal energy centers that reflect our everyday emotional and spiritual experiences.
Each chakra corresponds to a part of us that we interact with constantly: feeling safe (root), speaking our truth (throat), trusting our gut (solar plexus), giving and receiving love (heart), and so on. They’re like energetic checkpoints—quietly influencing how we think, feel, and respond to the world around us.
My first real encounter with the chakra system came during a particularly chaotic time in my life. I was overwhelmed, indecisive, and constantly second-guessing myself.
A friend casually suggested I might have an imbalance in my throat chakra—the center of personal power and confidence, also thyroid. How could something I couldn’t see or touch be the cause of my anxiety?
But curiosity got the better of me, and I started learning more. I meditated on that area. I visualized a glowing blue light and asked myself, gently, Where am I silencing my voice? The answer came fast and loud: Everywhere.
I realized I had been ignoring my inner voice in favor of people-pleasing. I was saying yes when I meant no. I was shrinking to keep the peace. And somehow, my body—my energy—knew it long before my mind did.
That awareness was the beginning of a shift. I started standing up for myself more, setting boundaries, and honoring my instincts. The energy around my throat chakra, which once felt tight and tangled, started to feel more open, even warm.
Since then, the chakras have become a kind of map for me—an internal compass I turn to when something feels off. If I’m struggling to express myself, I check in with my throat chakra. When I feel disconnected, I spend time nurturing my heart. And sometimes, just acknowledging a blocked chakra is enough to begin the healing.
Working with the chakras isn’t about being perfect or “aligned” all the time. It’s about becoming more aware—more honest—with what’s happening inside you. And when you tune in to that inner energy, even just a little, something beautiful starts to unfold: you begin to trust yourself again.
The Crystals: Earth’s Spiritual Allies
I used to think crystals were just pretty rocks—until one was gifted to me when I needed it most.
It was a small piece of rose quartz, soft pink and warm in my hand. I didn’t know what it “meant” at the time, but I couldn’t stop holding it. Later, I learned it was the stone of unconditional love.
I had just gone through a tough family disruption, the death of a parent, and a diagnosis that landed me on the ground. That little crystal had shown up like a quiet friend, offering comfort without saying a word.
Since then, crystals have become part of my daily rhythm. I keep amethyst near my bed for health, black tourmaline at my desk for grounding, and I sometimes wear selenite when I need white light protection. Whether they amplify energy, soothe emotions, or simply remind me to stay present, they connect me to something deeper—both within myself and the earth.
I don’t see them as magical fixes, but as gentle companions on the path. Sometimes, just holding one reminds me to breathe, slow down, and listen.
The Signs: Messages from Beyond the Veil
There was a time when I brushed off repeating numbers or random feathers as a coincidence. But the more I opened up spiritually, the more those little “coincidences” started showing up—loudly, clearly, and always when I needed them.
My dad passed years ago, and our sign was 123 (it meant I love you when I couldn’t say the words yet as a child). The day he died, I saw 123. Then again, and again and again. Since his death, there hasn’t been a day I haven’t heard, seen, or felt those numbers.
And after asking for clarity during a confusing time, I saw a cardinal outside my door, 1:23 on the clock, a white feather on my walk. The message was clear: “You’re on the right path.” That was the moment I stopped doubting.
Angel signs aren’t always grand or dramatic. Sometimes it’s a song on the radio that hits you in the heart or a phrase in a book that answers a question you hadn’t spoken out loud. They’re gentle nudges, reminding us we’re not alone—that something greater is guiding us.
Now when I see repeating numbers or feel that inner spark of recognition, I pause and say thank you. These signs are love notes from our angels—little winks from beyond the veil, reminding us to trust the journey. Don’t forget to ask for them!
