Did you know that sex dreams are often not about sex?
It’s true! I learned this today during a conversation with Dr. Clare Johnson, one of the world’s leading experts on lucid dreaming. Dreams are often not literal. This can be a big relief, especially if you just dreamed of relations with a work colleague or someone you don’t especially like.
According to Clare, these types of dreams don’t necessarily mean we’re secretly attracted to that person. Oftentimes, we dream these dreams because that person possesses a quality that we need in our lives, such as confidence in decision making or the ability to appear unaffected by criticism.
To decode a sex dream, or any dream really, you have to start by unwrapping it!
