Why is it that the hardest part of manifesting your dreams is accepting how easy it can be?
I know. Read that again.
Is this you? You purchase courses, visualize regularly, take inspired actions, knock on all those doors, make vision boards, chant affirmations… You’ve got goals and intentions up the wazoo, and you’re powering toward them, oh so slowly.
At the end of the day, you’re exhausted. It’s a lot of freaking work.
Maybe you give it all up for a while and just do what you were used to doing before. You know, worrying, working, trudging through a long to-do list, and “rewarding” yourself with a night of binge-watching. Meh.
But it’s not getting you where you really want to go. You’re sick of the hamster wheel of mundane living.
So you give this Law of Attraction thing another go. You jump in with both feet, and give it your all. You’re trying. You’re doing your best.
But truly, you’ve just put yourself on another hamster wheel, one of spiritual growth instead of societal expectations.
Struggling to achieve your dreams is hard. It reflects society’s beliefs about sacrifice and trading pain for gain.
That’s not the way this LOA thing works–or at least, it doesn’t have to be.
What if manifesting the life of your dreams was easy? Playful? A whole lot of fun?
Your first reaction might be, “Awesome! Let’s do this!” But pause and take a peek below the surface.
Is there part of you that’s full of doubts? “Easy? Yeah, right. Maybe if I were born into a rich family, or didn’t have all these health issues.”
That’s the part of you I’m talking to right now. So listen up. What if it really can be easy? What harm could it be to experiment with that new belief?
Struggling and striving hasn’t gotten you there. If you try this theory out and it doesn’t work, you know the long to-do list will still be waiting for you. It’s not like taking things easy for a while will be, well, hard…
Take this little, tiny first step with me:
Grant yourself permission to be playful with the steps you’re taking toward your biggest dreams.
Give yourself fewer tasks each day.
Choose manifesting practices that sound super fun, and do them.
Interact playfully with the Universe and the circumstances of your life. Stop and smell those roses, or watch the snow falling in your backyard.
Slow way down. Give yourself the pleasure of leisure time and creative exploration. You don’t have to work hard in order to deserve it—not while we’re exploring ease, anyway.
Put your own well-being and enjoyment in the center of your life (just for now).
How do I know this will even work?
I’m living it. I’m well along the way to the life of my dreams. I do work that I love, with amazing people, from the comfort of my cozy home in the beautiful countryside. It’s so much fun!
Not long ago, I was struggling in poverty, yearning to express my creativity, but feeling stuck. It was only when I fully embraced the joy and playfulness of being a co-creator with the Universe that the shifts began happening.
How do I know this will work for you, too? Ask yourself this: What have you got to lose?
If it doesn’t work, you can go back to the workaday world of worry and struggle, maybe feeling a bit more rested than usual.
If it does work, well, there’s a huge load of bliss and gratitude in store for you!
Start now. Decide. Give yourself permission to let manifesting your dreams be an easy, fun, creative journey.
It’s powerfully magickal. I promise.
