It is impossible for you to ever be in the wrong place at the wrong time! The universe makes no mistakes! The ego sometimes asks this question because what it really wants to ask is, “How can I only be in the place I always want to be?”
There is a misunderstanding that if something good happens that you are in the “right” place. But if something bad happens, then you are in the “wrong” place. That is only ego perception.
You can never be in the wrong place! Even when you’re in a place of indecision, that place of indecision is the “right” place, because you may need that rest period between actions.
The ego cannot ever control things.
One of the symptoms of your ongoing awakening process is when you actually begin to perceive and accept that you are always where you need to be in every moment, and you relax with that truth.
Let’s say that you’re walking down the street and a man on a bicycle is texting. This bicycle hits you and you break your leg. If we continue with the premise that it is impossible to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, then it means this event was necessary for you. It was part of the flow of the universe for a reason that you may never know.
If you deny it or judge yourself, or if you blame the man on the bicycle, then you suffer even more. When you are not fully present with your experience, you suffer.
The awakening process happens paradoxically when the ego gives up trying to control the awakening process.
It is never a mentally guided experience. As you work on deeper and deeper levels, you begin to see that the work has very little to do with doing anything. Instead, you see that it has more to do with undoing (the ego) and relaxing into your true nature. That true nature is already awakened and always has been!
