This life is part of a carefully crafted holy curriculum and school for our divine eternal souls. We choose to come here to learn and grow through the experiences that duality and contrast provide to expand and see ourselves from different perspectives.
The experiences we get here cannot be gotten anywhere else. And this is why we choose Earth and these dense bodies. It is only in the experience of contraction that time provides that we can have relationships, struggle, and pain and be able to experience the human feelings and choices that allow us to grow.
Nothing happens by accident. Nothing. When we feel victimized and like life is happening to us, we tend to really do ourselves a disservice because we don’t grow. Victimhood keeps us stuck, creating the same experiences over and over.
There is a power that comes when we take full responsibility for our individual lives and choose to accept what comes our way as if we had chosen it. And at some level, we have chosen our experiences. Only then can we use these experiences as a mirror—not to judge ourselves and others but to learn the lessons that each experience invariably gives us.
Our life lessons are always undergirded by love. We are here to love—to love ourselves and other people.
What love looks like in each situation is completely different. It could be learning healthy boundaries, forgiveness, empathy, compassion, understanding, releasing judgment and selfishness, listening, saying no, humility, service, courage, standing up for ourselves, and so forth.
Our souls are eternal adventurers. If we have chosen the Earth school—which is one of the densest—we are brave souls. We appreciated what this dense school can offer us.
When we start to appreciate and embrace life, rather than resist it, we allow our souls to do what they came here for. That is to grow, learn, and eventually remember our divinity while in the body.
There is a method to the madness. Living solely from the ego is like walking through life in darkness. You not only bump your toe into everything and hurt yourself but also bump into and hurt everyone and everything in the process.
When we live from the soul, rather than the ego, allowing our intelligent souls to lead the way, everything starts to make sense. We start to appreciate even the suffering we find here because everything is of value. We only suffer until we realize we don’t have to and that realization comes from non-resistance, detachment, learning, and love.
We can awaken by identifying as our true divine nature—our spirit essence—rather than as the body-mind character, which is a costume.
When the actor plays a character in a movie knowing he is only acting, he doesn’t suffer or take the events in the movie too seriously. He is lovingly detached because he knows he will eventually leave the set and go home.
The soul aspect is our higher selves. The soul aspect sees the greater plan and is the light that guides our way because it is one with Source/God.
