Jambo Fellow Adventurer!

8 years ago a dream of ours came true: Exploring the ruins atop Machu Picchu, Peru!* The experience exceeded our WILDEST expectations. Not only were we taken aback by the breathtaking beauty and mystery of all we saw, but we were awed by the warm bond formed amongst the "Tutters" in our party.

We've now hosted 25 other WOW Tour adventurers around the world, from Ireland to Africa to Tahiti, yet Machu Picchu was so extraordinary in every way, we’ve already gone four times, and each time the seemingly impossible happened, it got even better! It may be our favorite destination in the world, offering culture, mysterious ruins, jungles, joyful locals, hiking, camaraderie, city life, amazing food, country life and the best of times. It should therefore come as no surprise... we’re excitedly counting down to our 5th visit!

If visiting Machu Picchu has been one of your dreams, or even if the thought is brand new to you, COME WITH US! This will be a life-changing experience - let's do it together! Like-minded thinkers on an adventure to explore one of the most sacred and mind expanding places in the world!

Yours in the adventure,

Mike Dooley

* This is not a climbing adventure. Like most visitors, we take a bus to the top of the mountain to see the ruins. For the adventurous among us, however, there’s plenty of time to opt for some serious hiking, and many of us do!

Adventure Highlights

  • Casual, unplugged workshops centered on self-discovery and manifesting change, designed to make this a truly life-changing experience.
  • Q&A following each talk to address your specific needs, concerns, dreams, and challenges.
  • Private time with me and my brother Andy (a professional life coach), time permitting.
  • 7 nights' accommodation: 3 nights at Hotel Tambo Del Inka, 3 nights at Hotel Inkaterra Machu Picchu, 1 night at Palacio Del Inka Hotel.
  • Meals: 7 breakfasts, 4 lunches, and 7 dinners.
  • A Shaman Ceremony in the Sacred Valley to partake in the Andean ritual “Pago a la Tierra” (payment to the Earth).
  • Visit to Ollantaytambo, one of the few places where the Incas defeated the Spanish Conquistadors and the "last living Inca village of Peru."
  • Visit to the colorful Pisac Marketplace, where craftsmen sell a wide variety of fine crafts such as woven goods, sweaters, alpaca rugs, tapestry, sculpture, and jewelry.
  • Visit to Machu Picchu, “The Lost City of the Incas” and the most famous ruin site of South America (and one of the new 7 wonders of the world).
  • A special visit to a local orphanage in the Sacred Valley to meet the children and leave a donation.

Participate in daily workshops

One of the highlights of our trips are the daily unplugged mini-workshops with Mike Dooley and TUTTERS about life, dreams, happiness, and the nature of reality. In addition to these mini-workshops, you’ll receive a professionally bound "Best of My Life" Passport! Your Passport will culminate in your creation of a customized Manifestation Action Plan (MAP) that will give you guidance and direction for creating consciously beyond our trip. You'll also learn the key points from Mike Dooley’s present touring material, Playing the Matrix, and from Andy Dooley’s touring material, Vibration Activation.

Adventure with like-minded thinkers

Our trips are known for the friendships that are made! None of us self-proclaimed TUTTERS are into the idea of "group travel" – the whole notion speaks of compromise, routine and boredom, hardly adjectives for the life adventurers that we are! Yet something magical happens when like-minded thinkers embark on these trips. Everyone is fully versed in spiritual thinking, personal responsibility, and creating our own realities. Dreams and challenges are shared, illumination is sparked and lives are changed.

Talk one-on-one with Mike

On every trip we take, Mike is a part of the adventure in every way that you are. Whether we’re climbing a mountain, or riding a bus, or eating at a local restaurant, or passing out school supplies to children, Mike is there to facilitate and lead us in the adventure, along with his brother Andy, and our travel agent Christopher. There will be time to talk one-on-one with Mike and Andy, and there will also be time during group workshops to share and ask questions.

Adventure Schedule

DAY 1: Thursday, October 11th, 2018

Today we depart for Peru!

For those traveling on the group flights, we will meet in Dallas for our overnight flight to Peru.

DAY 2: Friday, October 12th, 2018

Cusco to Sacred Valley

Upon arrival at the Cusco airport we’ll be greeted with a welcome coca tea and local bread which will perk us up and help with altitude adjustment. Cusco is 11,000 feet above sea level!

Afterwards, we’ll proceed to the Sacred Valley (2-hour transfer). On the way, we’ll visit a garden setting where we’ll meet 2 shamans and take part in the Andean ritual “Pago a la Tierra” (payment to the Earth).

Then we’ll continue on and visit Awanakancha, a living museum of Andean cameloids, including Llamas, Alpacas, and the rarely seen Vicunas and Guanucos. Awanakancha is a project tasked with preserving old weaving techniques typical of the area while supporting local communities.

Once we arrive at the hotel, we’ll settle in and then have our first TUT talk.

Accommodations: Hotel Tambo Del Inka (Dinner)

DAY 3: Saturday, October 13th, 2018

Sacred Valley

Immerse yourself in the Andean culture with a visit to the typical rural village of Maras in the midst of the Sacred Valley. We’ll be welcomed by a group of villagers, who will introduce us to their culture, customs, and traditions by means of several workshops.

After lunch, the adventure continues to the ancient village of Ollantaytambo, the “last living Inca village of Peru.” The ruins of Ollantaytambo are one of the few places where the Incas defeated the Spanish Conquistadors. We’ll also visit a local home and taste delicious homemade Empanadas, freshly prepared in a traditional oven, followed by a picnic lunch in the Sacred Valley.

Note: The group will be split into two smaller groups and while group A is at Maras, group B will visit Ollantaytambo, and vice versa in the afternoon.

After a memorable day of meeting the local people, sharing in their culture, and exploring ancient villages, this evening’s dinner is at the hillside Hacienda Huayoccari.

Accommodations: Hotel Tambo Del Inka (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)

DAY 4: Sunday, October 14th, 2018

Sacred Valley

In the morning, we’ll visit the Pisac ruins and marketplace. Although it is very popular with tourists and locals alike, this colorful and vivid market still retains its local charm. Villagers, sometimes traveling from far away, gather to barter and sell their products. In addition, a large handicraft fair is organized by the Pisac and Cuzco craftsmen who exhibit and sell a wide variety of fine crafts such as woven goods, sweaters, alpaca rugs, tapestry, sculpture, jewelry, etc. If the crowd becomes too much, the café balconies offer a superb overview and great opportunity for people watching. After visiting the ruins, you may hike down to town or take transportation into town for more shopping time.

In the afternoon, we’ll visit a local orphanage in the Sacred Valley, play with the children, and leave a much needed donation.

This evening the group will come together for a talk prior to dinner.

Accommodations: Hotel Tambo Del Inka (Breakfast and Dinner)

DAY 5: Monday, October 15th, 2018

Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu

In the morning, we’ll transfer to the Ollantaytambo train station in the Sacred Valley for a ride onboard privately chartered cars on the Vistadome train to Machu Picchu. Upon our arrival, guides will greet us for the walk from the train station to the hotel (5 minutes) where lunch will be served.

After lunch, we’ll take a shuttle bus to the most famous ruin site of South America – Machu Picchu, for a guided tour. Machu Picchu, also known as “The Lost City of the Incas,” might be the most familiar symbol of the Inca Empire. It was built around AD 1450 at the top of a granite mountain, and UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site in 1983. Recently, it has also been named one of the “New Seven Wonders of the World” and the most visited ecological destination in the world. There are many theories about Machu Picchu, but one thing is for sure – it is one of the most impressive sites you’ll ever see.

After the tour, if time allows (Machu Picchu closes at 5pm), you may enjoy some free time to wander around on your own. Then take the shuttle bus down to town and walk back to the hotel.

Accommodations: Hotel Inkaterra Machu Picchu (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)

DAY 6: Tuesday, October 16th, 2018

Machu Picchu

Today, you may choose from one of the following TUT Adventures (a return ticket and transfer to Machu Picchu is included):

Morning Visit to Machu Picchu: See the sunrise in this magnificent setting, use the time to see Machu Picchu in another light and to explore the marvelous site on your own.

Huayna Picchu Hike: For the more adventurous and active, this hike to the mountain behind Machu Picchu offers totally different views of the ruins. The hike is strenuous and if you are concerned about altitude, we don’t recommend this activity.

Relax at the hotel: Take some time for yourself to see the marvelous gardens, or wildlife, make your own tea from the tea garden, and more.

This evening the group will come together for a talk prior to dinner.

Accommodations: Hotel Inkaterra Machu Picchu (Breakfast and Dinner)

DAY 7: Wednesday, October 17th, 2018

Machu Picchu

Today has been left with plenty of free time to explore at your leisure. Take the bus up to Machu Picchu, or explore the town of Aguas Calientes with its wonderful marketplace, or relax at the hotel alongside the Urubamba River. The day can be spent however you like it.

Accommodations: Hotel Inkaterra Machu Picchu (Breakfast and Dinner)

DAY 8: Thursday, October 18th, 2018

Machu Picchu to Cusco

This morning we board the train back to the Sacred Valley followed by a coach transfer to Cusco and the Palacio del Inka Hotel. En route we stop for a traditional Andean lunch and visit the ruins of Sacsayhuaman, a marvelous example of Incan building skills.

Dinner tonight is a farewell occasion where we recap the life-changing trip we’ve experienced and raise a toast to one another!

Accommodations: Palacio del Inka Hotel (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner)

DAY 9: Friday, October 19th, 2018

Cusco to Lima to Home

This morning breakfast is included at the Palacio del Inka followed by a walking tour of Cuzco and a tasting at San Pedro Market. Lunch is included at the end of the tour.

In the afternoon, we’ll transfer to the airport for the flight to Lima and connecting flights home.

(Breakfast and Lunch)

If you do not sign up directly through our travel agent, BenchMark Travel Services, you cannot be considered part of the TUT group and take part in the TUT activities. Sorry!

BenchMark Travel Services strongly recommends the purchase of travel insurance* before any TUT trip! Travel insurance offers travelers coverage for unforeseen problems, from a cancelled flight to a serious illness—or in rare cases, even an act of terrorism or the financial default of a travel supplier. If you miss a travel connection, even for reasons beyond your control, you are NOT necessarily protected from financial loss unless you have travel insurance. For example, if you encounter mechanical problems, flight delays, or inclement weather that causes you to miss connections, the airline carrier might re-book you, although in many cases (such as bad weather) it is NOT guaranteed (in which case you may either have to purchase an entirely new round-trip ticket or forego the entire prepaid trip without any reimbursement). Travel insurance can cover new flights or provide trip cancellation coverage (for a covered loss), as well as emergency medical expenses and medical transportation. Travel insurance also provides 24 hour “911” emergency travel service, in case a traveler has to change a flight or a hotel room, in addition to assistance with emergency cash transfers, lost baggage, and pre-trip consultation services (travel advisories, passport requirements, inoculation information, etc.).

*Please note that Travel Guard insurance is only available to US and Canadian residents at this time. If you live elsewhere, please check for such coverage within your home country from independent providers.

HOW TO PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE: You can obtain travel insurance from Travel Guard International. To view the various policies offered, log onto You will have two options to purchase travel insurance: 1. US residents may call Travel Guard directly at 1-800-549-9037 and Canadian residents may call 1-866-648-8422. 2. Visit Travel Guard’s website to process the insurance yourself. In this case you will be asked for a travel agent code, please give Travel Guard the code 00552160 as this code will identify your booking with BenchMark Travel Services. Please be sure to read all policy information thoroughly and note that if you have a pre-existing condition you must apply for the insurance within 14 days of the trip deposit date.
