Jambo Fellow Adventurer,

Over the past several years, since the release of this tiny, little novel, I've begun receiving e-mails and letters of thanks and praise. Among the requests and gratitude, I'm frequently asked about myself, and the source of my ideas, so...

Before exercising my entrepreneurial muscles, I worked as a CPA for a large international firm between Tampa, Riyadh, and Boston. Today I work in shorts and spend way too much time in my yard on weekends.

The ideas for the story accumulated over a lifetime of questioning the things that most people take for granted, like who we are, why we're here, and where we're going. Of course, everyone wonders about these kind of things, but few dwell on them. I dwelled... big time.

Unbeknownst to me then, during all those years of dwelling, the very thoughts that I'd been thinking, combined with my burning desire "to know," were actually drawing answers to me, and slowly, the "right" stories wound up in my hands, the "right" people crossed my path, and the "right" circumstances arose, all making possible the occasional, almost imperceptible, sparks of "spontaneous" illumination. My desire and thoughts made this student ready, and the teachers, in a variety of guises, appeared.

And now, it's Lost In Space that gets conjured up by the mystical forces set into motion by imagination, as seekers around the world seek, and circumstances creep, to align life's questions with the "Truths of Being.”

Your great admirer,

About Lost in Space

Lost In Space was originally published in 1998, it was Mike's second book, and about 20,000 copies were self-published. In September 2012, it was discontinued and superseded by An Adventurer's Guide to the Jungles of Time and Space. In 2018, to celebrate the story’s 20th anniversary, a brand new Collectors’ Edition paperback will be released on October 1st.

In Lost In Space, a convincing case is made that the book's reader is part of a "most awesome adventure" into realms previously unknown, and that due to the extremely intense nature of this odyssey, they've momentarily forgotten where they've come from, and even, who they really are.

This amazing little book reveals the origins of space, time, miracles and more... Lighthearted yet philosophical, this story challenges its readers to re-think the very meaning of life.

A classic among those in search of the truth.
