'Gifts from the Universe' Project
ONE PERSON, ONE DOLLAR, ONE MONTH AT A TIME!


Yo! Ho! Ho! It's time to have FUN! If one person with one dollar can make a difference, think what 212,000 of us can do, each and every month!

After much brainstorming, tire-kicking, and soul searching we think we've got it!!! To celebrate all that we're blessed with, TUT is launching our Gifts from the Universe Project! The idea is to create an avenue for TUT's Adventurers Club members to speak with one voice, one heart, and one focus by contributing $1 (or more if you can) per month to a designated "cause" in need of our support.

On the 1st of each month, we will feature a link in the daily "Note from the Universe" to one outstanding, non-profit organization that we wholeheartedly support and believe in.

Overview of the Gifts from the Universe Project
  • Payments (and re-occuring payments) are made directly to the month's chosen organization.
  • TUT.com will lead the way each month with a $1,000 contribution.
  • Month-to-month participation is optional.
  • Cumulative contributions made by TUT's Adventurers Club members will be tracked and reported on this web page and in the Notes from the Universe at least once a month.
  • A new non-profit organization will be chosen each month by TUT.com. If you would like to suggest a non-profit organization to us, please fill out the form at the following link: Suggestion Form

Operation Smile!
Changing Lives ONE SMILE at a Time

Over 200,000 children are born with cleft lip or cleft palate in developing countries each year. Can you imagine what these children go through? The abuse they endure? The tears they cry? They struggle to speak, eat, and live a normal life – sometimes even abandoned by their families. In as little as 45 minutes, for only $240, a life can be transformed.

Since its founding, Operation Smile has treated more than 100,000 children born with cleft lips, cleft palates, and other facial deformities. In addition to contributing free medical treatment, Operation Smile trains local medical professionals in its 25 partner countries and leaves behind crucial equipment to lay the groundwork for long-term self-sufficiency.
