First… to brush up on visualizing. I’ve already mentioned that I think visualizing just once a day, for 5 or 10 minutes is ideal. And I’ve already told you that perhaps the most important thing you should imagine… are the emotions you expect to feel once your dream is manifested… so let me just add a few points that might help you expand and enhance your visualizing experiences:

With reference to your scrap book… as I mentioned earlier, one of its greatest powers… is that it takes you directly to images of the end results you hope to attain… completely side stepping the cursed HOWS. You don’t put in it pictures of HOW your dreams are going to come true, you put in it photos of the fruits of your dreamed of life. I mention again so that you can understand why scrapbooks are such a powerful tool. Now some things you can add to your scrapbook to possibly make them even more useful… are quotes, passages from favorite books, any kind of inspirational writings, or anything that inspires you. I usually alternate pages… a photo… and a quote. You might also use some actual photographs from some the high points in your life… happy photos of you and your friends… photos that bring back happy memories, emotions of being in control or carefree, feelings that you’d like to experience more of. For that matter, you can take photos from magazines of happy smiling faces… the kind of faces you’d like to have in your life… to help you imagine the joy you’re after… because using scrapbooks doesn’t have to be just about acquiring material things.

Another thing I’ve added to mine are notes, brief notes I’ve written to myself AS IF it was a note from someone else… like congratulations, thanks, or whatever, that would only be written to me by someone else if a particular dream of mine had already been achieved. I even have fake checks I’ve written to myself from real people or companies… of course, for huge sums of money… as payment for whatever services I’d like to perform for them… like royalty payments, speaking fees, whatever.

The last bit of advice I have for your scrap book, is to be constantly updating it. After you stare at any photo for a while… it’ll likely lose some of its luster… and with it will go some of your enthusiasm. So don’t just add new thoughts and photos to your scrapbook, but take out the old ones that no longer have the same impact, emotionally, on you that they once had. Your scrapbook should inspire and excite you, it should be a happy thing to turn to. Oh, and one more bit of advice… give it a rest every once in awhile too. You don’t HAVE TO use a scrapbook to help you visualize, sometimes just getting a new issue of a great magazine will do just as good a job, and other times… just closing your eyes and creating your own pictures is best. Remember, there are no rules.

CON'T...

Some other thoughts on visualizing, in general: just before you start doing it, do your best to get into that feeling of truly understanding that you ARE a Being Of Light and that all things ARE possible. You know what I mean… that state of understanding that you really do DESERVE whatever you have the audacity to believe in, and that certainty that your thoughts always have, and always will, become the things and events of your life. Remind yourself that the realization of your dreams is not something you have to orchestrate… remind yourself that all you have to do is determine, define, and focus on the end result, and that the Universe will figure out the details. The Universe and its principles will be receiving the impressions of what you want, picking up your thoughts when you visualize… and taking over from there – it’s the law!

Another thing you can do before visualizing is remind yourself of all your prior successes in life, similar successes with regard to what it is you’re now after. You can also do this whenever you face challenges, whether or not you’re about to visualize. List them out if it helps, write down, or think out, all the other times in your life when you received help that you needed, when the Universe stepped in on your behalf, when you maintained the necessary faith to bring about the changes you wanted, when you prevailed in adversity. Looking at these lists, or thinking of your successes before you visualize, will help you have the right frame of mind that you CAN have whatever it is you want............
