I want to find others who think like this!

Q:  I'm finding now that I've become more aware of the Universe. I feel like I 'need' or crave other 'like-minded' people, because no one that I know (at least not online and 1/2 way across the country!) has the same philosophies.  

How does one find people - if for no other reason than to just TALK to about all this.. talk about questions, etc.?  There's a sense of loneliness with this.. it won't stop me from the path but.. as a single mom with 2 kids (that aren't anywhere near this!) in a bedroom community... it's a bit overwhelming....  I could use some thoughts, guidance on that and who do I TALK to??  Can you help?  

A:  Great question! Just stay true to yourself, and true to your new insights, and you will radiate this out into the world, and sure enough, those with like minds will be drawn to you, and you to them, usually through fun accidents or surprising coincidences. You may also find resistance from your old circle of friends as you begin flowering to truth, and that's OK, the truth is more important, and the new friendships that are on the horizon will replace the old ones.

It would also help if you thrust yourself out into life as much as possible given your own unique situation. Go places, follow hunches, read the local paper, etc.

I think we all go through the phase you're in, thinking that we are the only ones that know what is going on... but the next think you know, you'll be finding similar thinkers in the most unlikely places. Until then, I do know that many Unity Churches have people of our thinking, as do "Science of Mind" churches. I'm not part of these organizations, but they embrace the same truths and have many wonderful speakers! Also, stay tuned to the TUT website, because in the future there'll be more and more opportunities to meet others through it.
