I am a born again, Bible believing, child of God!

Q:  I have had wonderful, totally unexpected and unbelievable things happen to me. Why? Because I am a child of God. Born again, blood bought, glory sought, Bible believing, Holy Spirit receiving child of God. I know in whom I have believed. I pray you believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. The calamities that are rocking America are not happenstance or by chance. It is a wake up call from God Almighty to the hard of hearing, stiff-necked people who are so self everything that they think they don't need God. Wrong. We were made in His image and there's a large, gaping hole in the middle of everyone of us that only God can fill...and with that comes PEACE. Blessed peace. Once we receive Him, Jesus, as Lord and Savior of our lives. Other than that, we're bummin'. Hell is full of good intentions. Don't wait. Don't delay. Get rid of the sin in your life which separates you from God. Eternity is a long time. Make sure you're going to sit in the "Non-Smoking" section of everlasting time, eh? Godspeed.

A:  Wow, you can write! But no, I don't share the same world view as you, however there is much we agree on. Good thing I don't believe in hell! We're all doing our best, why scorch some lost soul who misunderstands the beauty of life... for eternity no less? It was just a metaphor. Hell is what we create here and now when we misunderstand the blessings and magic and unending miracles we've been born to - talk about torture. Never does a soul leave earth who isn't lovingly embraced by infinite compassion and mercy. There is no such thing as an unforgiven sin in God's world... only in our world when we fail to forgive and understand ourselves and our true divinity.

There is only love, and God is that love. There is only God. It's all God... it's all good (which means there is no room for a devil or hell... only for God). It is a wonderful life, and there will be endless more. Hallelujah, praise be to God, So be it, AMEN.

Q: Hmmm...you obviously don't believe in the Bible, do you? I haven't written sooner because I have been very busy with our business, but I am curious as to what kind of teachings you have sat under. Definitely not anything from a biblical perspective. What heading do you go under? New Age? Scientist? What? I would really like to know.

A: Born and raised a Catholic. Today I belong to no organization, though if someone were to classify me, they would likely put me in the "New Thought" group (NOT the same as New Age).

I do NOT believe in the Bible in the way that you do. An awesome piece of work, totally God inspired, but not God written. I believe through poor teachers, and their manipulation of the masses, it has been horribly translated over the millenniums. Much is misunderstood. My authority??? It dwells within myself through my feelings, love and intuition. I am of God.... therefore I am all God (though if you like, God is much more than me). Again, there is only God, and only Love.

Q: Hmmm...what about Jesus?

A: Well, if all we know of him is from the bible, then some of our info is twisted too... HOWEVER... enough can be read to realize he was a magnificent, divine being... as we all are. I believe he came to be an example of what all may do/be. He, himself, told us that he was no more special than we. That what he did we all can do. I do not believe he was the only son of God. We are all the children of God, and that was his message. I do not believe we will find salvation through him, but through recognizing, discovering, and being reborn to the "Christ" within ourselves. This too was his message. Not to find heaven through him, but through the Christ within ourselves, AS HE DID. This message is so misunderstood, that many well meaning Christians have clearly made an idol of Jesus.
