What about punishment and forgiveness?

Q:  What about punishment and forgiveness? Are we not held accountable?

A:  Oh yes! Though we are not “held accountable”, we ARE accountable, for EVERYTHING we experience! The difference is that there is no need for someone outside of ourselves to make us face the music. We do this for ourselves, with guides perhaps, when we are raised to see the truth in all things.

The punishment comes in 2 forms, unhappy lives, and in the remorse/regret we will (and already do) feel when the veils are lifted and we truly understand how some of our thoughts, words and deeds were “hurtful” to others and ourselves.

But the one who must forgive us, is ourselves, and we are often far less lenient with ourselves than we are with others. Still, “God” does not want us to suffer, nor does she want to punish us. This is our Adventure and the sooner we get to living “right”, the sooner we will be happy, and the happier “God” will be.
