A: I’m very flattered by your idea. I do, however, receive lots of such requests, and ironically, used to wish for the same thing myself (not all that long ago).

It is more responsibility than I’d like to take on, so I will decline.

I will tell you, however, that you already have and know all that you need to succeed in any field you choose, just as I did when I once thought a mentor would do the trick. However corny this may sound, the Universe is your most willing and able mentor and you will progress fastest, and most magically, if you keep sticking your neck out, “knocking on doors and turning over stones,” living your dreams (speaking, writing, whatever) today to any degree you can. It won’t necessarily be “easy,” there will be fear, and there may be a persistent sense that it is all uphill (at least this was true for me). But if you look for a sense of accomplishment in all you do, if you “try” to appreciate and enjoy where you already are and all you already have, it will be made more bearable, until the day dawns when you actually have to pinch yourself because you will have arrived – living the life of your dreams.
