Stuck in a rut...

Q: I seem to have found myself in a rut. It's interesting how even though your mind is constantly focused on optimistic and positive thoughts- incontinences and pain can still find their way into your life. These are no major traumas that have taken place, I just experience small stressors that build up quickly. I hope that you are able to give me some helpful advice on how to get out of this and back to my regular high-achieving lifestyle.

A: You are too hard on yourself, and the labels only exacerbate things, bringing on more complications.

You simply need to do your best not to dwell on the past, nor worry about the future, but when you do, that’s OK! You’re in good company ;)

At the same time, do what you know to do... visualize, let go of the hows, act with faith (using token gestures), keep grounded with brief readings from favorite spiritual books (not the religious kind), etc... and this will always be enough to turn things around. Don’t doubt it, just do it. It always works.
