Q: I'm going into
bankruptcy due to
problems with my
business. This will, of
course, force me into
personal bankruptcy
because of my personal
guarantees. How does
this play into my will
to succeed? I keep
trying to imagine a
better life but I have
all this in front of me.
A: I don’t see it having
anything to do with your
will to succeed. Life’s
road has many bumps, all
due to different
misunderstandings about
ourselves and our
potentials. Each bump
serves to alert us to
different
misunderstandings. Then
again, sometimes
“lessons” are just
lessons, and bumpy roads
are just you/the
Universe changing your
direction toward what it
is you are really after.
Look for any lessons,
and keep plugging. If
you don’t yet understand
what’s going on, then
just give it time.
Sometimes in the middle
of a crisis it is too
difficult to know
exactly what or why
things are happening,
but later you WILL see
the gifts. And often,
lessons are learned
without us fully
understanding what they
were and are, we just
need to go through them.
Notice the word
“through”; in other
words, again, just keep
plugging so that you can
get through it.
I KNOW your will to
succeed is intact, so,
one more time, just keep
doing all you can, with
what you have, from
where you are, and don’t
assume that something is
“wrong” with you.
