A: I’m
not a doctor, but in my opinion, at a minimum, you can greatly
minimize your symptoms using thought, visualization, and by
saying and doing things that serve you (such as acting and
talking as if you have no issues in this regard).
You must be
especially aware that the more you think of your condition, talk
about it, worry about it, focus upon it, read about it, seek
help over it (to a degree), the worse it will be. This might
seem like a very challenging task, and of course I do not expect
you to forget you have the condition. You will still be aware of
it, and you will still be concerned, that’s normal, but you
mustn’t go around telling people about it, etc... Just do your
best to ignore it (and really get excited about, and focus upon,
any tiny improvements you notice – this you can talk about a lot
if you like!), and when you can’t, fine, at least you will have
done your best, which I believe will be enough.
Don’t, in a
week or two, worry or wonder about results, or wonder if you are
“doing it right,” or conclude that it just isn’t helping!!! Just
keep on keeping on until you have your desired results.
