Adultery...

Q:  Thank you very much mike for having this website and enabling people like myself to get out of a rut. Today i was feeling very low and could not pull myself together i couldn't even fake a positive thought! After visiting your website i feel much better. It has been four years now of financial worry after my husband had an affair with some one who worked for him, everything went down hill. I lost all my zest for life i felt like something inside me had died.  

From then on i was very miserable day in day out. I did read something to him from the bible that said "adultery will  cost you all you have." Could that have anything to do with what is happening to us? They almost took our house away and a friend of his brought the money in cash in a paper bag to pay the mortgage arrears i do believe God was with us. I have been looking for answers to everything that is happening in my life mainly the bad. I do know God provides because a lot of amazing things have happened to me recently but i still worry about why I'm still not making the money to pay the bills the mortgage etc. I still have not cracked the money thing why? Thank you for your website and God bless


A:  Only a belief in adultery taking away all you have will make that happen. There are no such punishments meted out by a God. "She" doesn't judge, "She" doesn't punish, and "She" still loves you both far too much to want any further pain or loss to come your way, ever. You both have likely made yourselves suffer enough because of what happened (not that you needed to!). You've done your best with what you've known, and so has your husband (which does not condone his behavior). If you've decided to stay together, then you both need to let go of the past and accept the present as joyfully as possible – this will turn your boat around faster than anything else.

And, I’d say you have cracked the money thing! Start affirming this, and see its truth everywhere.
